Halton curve opened for regular railway services in May 2019. Trains operated by Transport for Wales will run between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street seven days a week. The timetable for the service has been published in timetable 4 on the TfWRail website.
The curve has been upgraded to enable trains to operate in both directions.
