Leven and Cameron Bridge join rail network

Two new stations have received their first passenger trains carrying members of the public today (2nd June 2024) with the opening of the railway line to Leven. Cameron Bridge and Leven will have direct trains to Edinburgh Waverley in just 70 minutes.

Earlier this week, Scottish First Minister, John Swinney officially opened the railway line at a ceremony attended by over 300 people. They travelled to both stations on the route in a train that has been wrapped to promote the new route.
