Northumberland line construction delays hit opening plans

The opening date for the Northumberland line is expected to slide to December 2024 with some stations expected to not open when the first trains run.

Construction progress appears to be behind for Blyth Bebside and Bedlington railway stations.

The line was expected to open in summer 2024
