Plans move forward on Cirencester to Kemble line

Supporters of a project to connect Cirencester to the national railway network at Kemble have revealed the progress that has been made recently. The initial feasibility study has revealed no major show stoppers that were not already known (a new bridge is required to cross the A429).

The project was successful in the second round of the Restoring your Railway – Ideas Fund.
