Essex County Council Cabinet are expected to approve an agreement to formalise a Housing Infrastructure Fund grant for over £200m at a meeting next week. The funding will deliver Beaulieu Park railway station and Chelmsford North East bypass. The station has been allocated a budget of £157m. However, costs are currently sitting at around £171m and work is underway on value engineering to bring the station under budget.
