An MP has pulled together a group of key stakeholders to support the development of a new bid to reopen the Anglesey Central Railway. The railway line runs from Gaerwen on the North Wales main line to Amlwch.
A bid for the line was submitted to the second round of the Restoring your Railways Ideas Fund.
Following the sharing of this news, there was a strong reaction on social media. Some advised that the corridor the railway line occupied should be used as a bridle way.
