The campaign group seeking to restore the railway line between Skipton and Colne have shared an update on the progress being made. It is understood that the feasibility study commissioned by Chris Grayling has been completed and further work is taking place to understand the costs to take the project through to the Rail Network Enhancement Pipeline Decision to Develop stage.
The group has advised that the government’s proposals include a double track line enabling trains to operate between Leeds and Colne with a station at Earby.
