Hundreds sign Stonehouse Bristol Road petition

Over 700 people have signed a petition on Gloucestershire County Councils website calling for the restoration of the railway station serving Stonehouse Bristol Road. Stonehouse is currently connected to the railway network via a station on the Golden Valley line connecting Swindon and Gloucester. However, services running through the town between Bristol and Cheltenham Spa have no station to serve.

The petition notes the need for support from the county council to enable bids for funding.
