Hourly service proposed for Boulby line

A study has proposed an hourly service on the freight line that serves Boulby potash mine. Redcar and Cleveland Council has commissioned a report that has proposed halts at Saltburn West, Skelton, Brotton, Loftus, Carlin Howe and Easington. Further work is required to understand the work required on the infrastructure to enable freight and passenger services to operate together.
