An update to the Glasgow City Region Cabinet has revealed the expected timescales for delivering Barrhead South railway station. The papers suggest that the business case for the station will be ready for approval in October 2020, with construction starting in early 2021 and completion/opening expected in late summer 2021
The station would be located on the Glasgow-Neilston railway line.
