Railfuture Scotland shares expansion opportunities

Railfuture Scotland has shared documents that show opportunities to expand the rail network, updating documents that were shared in 2014. Many of the schemes proposed are familiar to readers of this site including the extension of the Borders Railway, Glasgow Crossrail and reopening the route to St Andrews.

The proposals also included five railway stations for services on the Alloa-Dunfermline line including Clackmannan, Kincardine, Culross, Valleyfield and Cairneyhill.
