Funding award could restore passenger trains to Hundred of Hoo line

Passenger services could be restored to the Hundred of Hoo line in north Kent following a funding award to Medway Council from the Housing Infrastructure Fund. The council has had discussions with Network Rail to discuss options for upgrading the railway line. This funding will enable both organisations to investigate rail infrastructure upgrades and train service possibilities.
