Work at Warrington West has progressed well over the festive period in the latest update by Warrington Borough Council.
The Contractor had a very productive few days on site during the Xmas period, whilst there was a rail closure on the line. You will notice big changes on site, following the installation of the lift shafts, footbridge and staircases. Scaffolding has also been erected so that the cladding can be installed onto the lift shafts. Work will now continue on the platforms with completion of the retaining walls, cladding and installation of the various cabling and equipment required. The requirement for overnight works should now be less frequent.
