DfT rejects Heathrow rail proposals

Two proposals from private organisations to improve rail connectivity to Heathrow Airport have been rejected by the Department for Transport following its call market led proposals earlier this year.

Windsor Link Rail, which would have connected Heathrow to the railway lines serving Windsor, with a new link connecting the two railway stations serving the town.
