A Green MSP has advocated that a pop up station at Rhu has potential after visiting the site of the possible stations at Rhu and Shandon with local village representatives. The discussions have been spurred by the recent announcement that £2m had been made available in the recent Scottish government budget to push forward potential stations that could be opened on a temporary basis.
