Following the completion of design work for Horden railway station, Durham County Council have begun a consultation into the railway station proposed at Horden. The station was successful in round 2 of the New Stations Fund.
We now want to share more detail of how we have progressed with the development of a new rail station for Horden. We will be holding an engagement event on Tuesday 6 March 2018 at Horden Social Welfare Centre between 3.00pm and 7.30pm. You can find out about outline designs, planned train services, access and the facilities that will be available at the new station.
