Campaigners are frustrated at the lack of response to a report that they submitted to government in November 2016. The Peninsula Rail Task Force was set up following the storms that severed the coastal route through Dawlish in 2014 and submitted proposals to reinstate an alternative route to the south west avoiding Dawlish.
