A 1,000 tonne crane has been used to install the two bridge beams during a possession of the Midland Mainline near Loughborough over the weekend. The two steel beams will form the structure of a bridge linking two heritage railway lines to form an 18 mile railway line connecting Ruddington, south of Nottingham with Leicester.
