MP backs Sharpness heritage railway proposal

Stroud MP Neil Carmichael has said he is “very supportive” of a scheme to restore and reopen the Sharpness railway as a heritage railway tourist attraction. He was speaking after attending a consultation meeting with the Vale of Berkeley Railway Trust.
