The Leeds District Consultation Sub-Committee is due to meet on 13th April 2015. The following update has been produced for Kirkstall Forge Rail Station.
2.10. WYCA is working with Network Rail and Northern Rail on the construction of a new rail station at Kirkstall Forge, just north of Leeds on the Airedale Line and forming part of a large scale development site. Construction began in late 2014 on the new access road and signalised junction on the A65 which will lead to the 127 space car park and twin platform station. The construction of the station and new access road are on target for opening in autumn 2015.
