Public Transport Campaigners fight for South West Network Expansion

Public Transport Campaigners across the South West are running campaigns to reopen line across the South West and run new services following the announcements by Network Rail that it is to electrify parts of the rail network and increase capacity.

Reopening the line to Portishead, as well as new stations at Corsham and Royal Wooton Bassett have been supported by the Campaign for Better Transport. In addition, Marlborough has been proposed.
