PM backs Corsham plans

Prime Minister David Cameron has advised that the government will look closely into any proposals to reopen railway stations on the Great Western Mainline. He advised that the benefits of electrification could include reopening railway stations such as Corsham. David Cameron’s visit comes a month after campaigners met with Transport Secretary Stephen Hammond.
