Local Councillors have expressed disappointment at the timescales that have been provided to them by the Scottish Transport Minister for the opening of Kintore Railway Station. The Transport Minister has advised that improvements to the rail infrastructure will not be delivered until 2016 and the station will not be delivered until 2016-19 subject to funding.
