Abertillery Petition reaches 1,000 signatures

Over 1,000 people have signed the online petition to open the railway station in Abertillery, South Wales. The town would be served by a branch off the Ebbw Vale line.

The petition was launched earlier this year but the reopening of the line to Abertillery is unlikely to happen before upgrades to the Ebbw Vale line according to Blaenau Gwent AM Alun Davies.
