Midland Metro Extension to Centenary Square, a further extension of the Metro that will link the city’s Westside and Colmore Business District with both the existing and high speed rail networks (£34.4m)
Midland Metro Eastside Extension from Stephenson Street serving New Street. Station to Eastside serving the HS2 Curzon Street Station and onwards through Digbeth to Adderley Park station (£5.5m from the Government for development and preparatory works)
Midland Metro Extension from Centenary Square to Edgbaston, a further extension of the Metro to Edgbaston (£59.8m)
Midland Metro Eastside Extension, to help deliver the first phase extension from Stephenson Street to Curzon Street Eastside (£35m from 16/17), further consideration to be given to funding for extension from Curzon Street to Digbeth and Adderley Park and Ridestation post 2016/17 subject to business case.
Government will continue to work with BCC and Centro on assembling the full funding package for the scheme.

Blackpool North Tram Extension
Blackpool-Fleetwood Tramway extension (a provisional allocation of £2.1m from Central Government) – will extend the existing Blackpool tram network to Blackpool North Railway Station, creating seamless rail provision for visitors to Blackpool and residents of the Fylde Coast.
Croxley Rail Link
Provide a £50.5m (£4m 2015/16) investment package to progress Croxley Rail Link which will provide direct tube access to Watford’s core business area (Clarendon Road) and Watford Town Centre. New stations will be provided at Ascot Road (Cassiobridge) to serve nearby Croxley and Watford Business parks and Watford Vicarage Road to service Watford General Hospital, Watford Football Club and the proposed Watford Health Campus. The funding for the Croxley Rail Link scheme is subject to Final Approval being secured through DfT’s local major scheme process.
Great Central Railway Bridge
Invest £1.0m in the Great Central Railway – ‘Bridging The Gap’(with £0.5m in 2015/16) with £5.48m from the LEP.
