Bromsgrove railway station has been opened officially following an event today (2nd September) attended by the local MP Sajid Javid. The railway station is the first step in a major upgrade to the railway line between Bromsgrove and Birmingham, which will see an increase in frequency and electric trains. The station opened to passengers on 12th July 2016.
Bromsgrove railway station is set to open within the next few months following the completion of major works on the building, footbridge and car parks. Currently the ticket office and staff facilities are being fitted out.
